Hope Johnson

Hope practices primarily Criminal Law in the Orlando area. Hope brings over four years of experience in criminal defense, having worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office for over 4 years. Hope has worked at both the County and Circuit court levels—handling hundreds of cases, including successful numerous trials.

As an experienced Orlando Criminal Defense Attorney, Hope can seek alternative outcomes to convictions, including civil remedies, pretrial diversion programs and more. Hope has handled cases involving a variety of charges. These have ranged from felonies, including felony murder and possession of a controlled substance, to misdemeanors, including DUI, Petty Theft, and more.

Hope earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2022. During law school, she was Activities Coordinator for the Association of Criminal Justice and Treasurer of the animal Legal Defense Fund. She also worked as a Legal Intern for the Public Defender’s Office in Decatur, Georgia, and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Francis Allman.

Prior to law school, Hope earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Communication Studies and Literature from Florida State University in 2019.

Hope is a member of the Florida Bar.  She is also a member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Orange County Bar Association.
